Stop getting mad at John Wall for playing spades during an interview (Video)

John Wall was clearly playing cards during a TV interview discussing the Dallas Cowboys.

ESPN fills its airwaves with plenty of content every Monday in preparation for what is sometimes a bad NFL game that night of the week. So why not get John Wall on to discuss the Dallas Cowboys?

The Washington Wizards All-Star appeared on Monday Tailgate to talk Cowboys and what he said was worth listening to. However, he was clearly not paying attention and was holding playing cards. Wall even asked for a question to be repeated and the hosts did their best to keep the interview rolling.

John Wall like the rest of us

This interview is hilarious because it shows professional athletes are no different than the rest of us when it comes to staying focused on video calls. Wall’s camera is also shaky and there is someone in the shot walking around. That is about as relatable as one can get.

It was confirmed after the interview that he was playing a game of spades, and did indeed come out victorious.

This also sums up life for Cowboys fans right now. The team is 2-4 and part of the terrible NFC East division. Losing Dak Prescott was a terrible blow and fans may need to take up a hobby, such as cards, to get through the remaining 10 games.

As for Wall, he is gearing up for his NBA return after missing all of last season and more than half of the 2018-19 season with both a heel and Achilles injury.

He has clearly found himself some hobbies in the meantime and may want to rethink doing interviews if he doesn’t appear to be interested in the first place.
